A ‘Survivor’ survivor!
It’s Tuesday and amazingly I got up at the first chime of the alarm clock. Before getting ready for work, I did a little laundry and came across a survivor from the “Survivor” TV series! My pink bandana!!! J.R. and I used to watch “Survivor” religiously with our pals John and Anita. They lived in the next town back then and were maybe 5 minutes away. We always had a ridiculous amount of fun with them (still do when we get together, but it’s less often now since they moved). Anyhoo, at the start of one of the “Survivor” series, probably the one with an all gal tribe and and an all guy tribe, I got all of us bandanas to show our loyalties. Anita, her daughter Rebecca, and I had pink bandanas. John and J.R. had turquoise blue bandanas. And for Gracie, their dog, I think I got her a purple bandana. Either that or she wore her pink color with pride! Or, to help even out the tribes, she wore turquoise. I just can’t remember now!!! Rebecca would use her bandana as a blanket for one of her baby dolls. Too cute! I miss those days. Anita and John have added another member to their own tribe since then…little A.J. who’s now 2. If you’re reading this, guys, we have GOT to get together again soon! I’ll make the potato salad! Love ya a bunch!
